MANUFACTURING
We do every step of the manufacturing process for refrigerated vans and trucks.
We also build vans for some of the largest new van and truck dealers in California and Arizona.
90% of refrigerated truck and van manufactures have started using cheap fiberglass panels imported
from overseas. They have extremely low “R-Values" and cannot achieve low temperatures in hot weather.
We use 3 1/2 inch polyurethane spray foam that is much more expensive and has four
times better insulation properties or “R-Values” than fiberglass panels.
DEFINITION OF “R VALUE”
“R Value” is the measurement of resistance that hot or cold temperatures move through
a substance. Most refrigerated body companies use prefab fiberglass panels imported from
far east that have an “R Value” of 3.4 inch per panel. These body companies usually use two panels
per wall, which would give their insulation an “R Value” of 6.8.
Refrigerated Truck Solutions uses a closed cell polyurethane spray foam that has an “R Value” of
6.5 per inch. We spray our foam 3 1/2 inches deep which would give our insulation an “R Value” of 22.75.
Refrigerated Truck Solutions DOES NOT use cheap fiberglass panels.
